Creating a typeface... alphabet soup

My partner Sam mentioned that he preferred uppercase, serif fonts, in black&white. Which led me straight away to baskerville as a classic and simple serif font, with some really nice uppercase letterforms. I have been experimenting with combining a bold baskerville face, with very simple faces to create different hybrids. However I have also looked at adding my own serifs and altering the letters by hand to see what they look like.


Baskerville bold and Baskerville bold italic are two of the fonts that I have looked at combining with others to create new letterforms.
