Slanted Magazine
Slanted is a German blog and magazine focused on Graphic Design, typography, illustration and photography. The website is really interesting in that every time you reload the page it has a different, and equally vibrant background colour. Similarly with the magazine, bold colours and typography are chosen for the cover. Particularly like the cover for slanted #19, called super families, which uses two pictures, one from the back and the other from the front for the back and front repectively, a really interesting idea. Slanted have an aesthetic that I really aspire to, think their use of image and type together is really brilliant, and the layouts are simple yet portray really well what the magazine is about.
