Tsto info & wayfinding

Task 4 - Specialist production & definitions.
Tsto
...

Branding, info and wayfinding for an event by Tsto. Although it is in a different language and I have no idea what it's about, there is a really stong visual throughout the identity and in the event. Colours are consistent throughout and really beautifully designed and printed booklets with 2 colours finish off this project.

September Industries - Morse Studio wayfinding.

Task 4 - Specialist production & definitions.
Septmeber Industry
Morse Studio

Some very nice wayfinding from September Industries for Morse Studios which stays simple and clear for effective communication. Colour makes it evident that it's all of the same design and pointing people to the same place and printed onto cardboard, built up into boxes for a different take on wayfinding within the environment.

Corporate & Brand identity for CPH GO

More wayfinding developed for an airport from early stages of logo design and branding to the latter stages of development and implementation of the system. Interesting yet fairly sensible to see that the colour pallette for all the design was based on the sky and its many colours. Very simple type and use of huge symbols make this way finding system very easy to use, perfect for an airport.

Wayfinding Design for International Digital Media & Arts Association

Very simple wayfinding devices for the International Digital Media & Arts Association by Vince Lo. Very clear due to the small amount of information on each piece which I think is the best way for it, and also great positioning of the signage to get the best contrast between it and the backdrop. I think in this case, simple is definitely the best.

Loose leaf...

This is Loose Leaf by Manual... It's a publication that features large format printed art works, each edition comes packaged ready to hang on your wall. In essence it is a publication, however it is designed in a way that instructs you on the hanging of the works. A really clever idea with bold and concise design I think.

Give & Take exhibition graphics, Frost design

Pictures from the book Mapping and Navigational systems which shows the graphics designed for an exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London by Frost design. I think these are really effective print solutions to the problem of navigation because of their simplicity. All there is, is a very bold, orange arrow directing viewers through the gallery space.

Struktur Design program information.

Information posters and spreads for a conference held in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in 2007. Designed to look as abstracted as possible from the original maps they were taken from with the use of colour and composition. I really like the type in these spreads...

Hornall Anderson

Environmental design by Hornall Anderson for Sky deck in the Willis Building. This pictures I took from Graphis Design Annual 2011, however I wanted to get some better images so I went onto their website to aquire some better images. I think aswell as large installed pieces, they have used printed pieces very well in order to help people find their way around the building effectively. They have also designed a form of identity to go with it...
